Jharkhand Police Constable Vacancy 2024 Details
As per the JSSC Police Constable notification, a total of 4919 positions will be filled through this JSS Recruitment.
Out of these, 3799 posts are for Regular and 1120 posts are for Backlog category.

Age Limit
Applicants minimum age should not be less than 18 years and maximum age should not be more than 25 years.
Extremely backward class and backward class will get an extra two years to apply. Unreserved, EWS, extremely backward class women will get an extra three years.
SC, ST men and women will get an extra five years. The maximum age limit will be calculated from August 01, 2019. The minimum will be from August 01, 2023.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the 10th class to apply for Jharkhand constable recruitment. Application fee should be paid through online.
Physical Criteria –
- Unreserved and EWS category: Men must be at least 160 cm tall and have a chest size of 81 cm.
- SC and ST category: Men should have a minimum height of 155 cm and chest size of 79 cm.
- Extremely Backward Class and Backward Class: Men must be at least 160 cm tall and have a chest size of 81 cm.
Selection Process for JSSC Constable Recruitment 2024
According to JSSC Constable Recruitment advertisement, aspirants will be selected based on the following process.
First of all the candidates will undergo a physical test in which the qualified candidates will undergo a medical examination.
Applicants who qualify the medical test will be called for the written test. The written examination will be of two hours duration and will consist of two papers.
Each question will carry three marks. All questions will be multiple choice. The first paper will be on regional tribal language knowledge.
The second paper will be on Hindi Language, Numerical and General Knowledge. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the written test taking into account the reservation.
There will be negative marking in the written test. One mark will be deducted for an incorrect answer.
